韩国电影档案馆

Korean Movie Archives, established in Seoul in 1974, is the only film archive in South Korea that covers the entire nation. As a non-profit organization, its main responsibilities include collecting and cataloging films, preserving and restoring them, digitizing movies, and organizing film screenings. It also provides reference and access services, such as publishing academic resources, operating online movie databases, and retrieving Korean film resources. The majority of original copies and film prints in South Korea are stored in this archive. In 1976, the archive joined the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) and became an official member in 1985.
